KIOSB D14: A Random Sentence

Growing Together by Heather Luxion

Growing Together by Heather Luxion

I’m visiting one of my sisters this weekend, so today’s Kickin’ It Old School prompt of pulling a book from the top shelf and sharing the first sentence comes to you from the bookshelf of one Anna Luxion, whose top shelf happens to be filled with knitting books (something you would not in fact find on my bookshelves!). And, I’m being a bit of a rebel, in that I’m sharing not the first sentence of the book, but the first sentence on the page that I happened to open the book up to:

“I love my hands.”
—The Knitter’s Gift: An Inspirational Bag of Words, Wisdom, and Craft

It has inspired me to share the above photograph of mine that I really love. (Neither set of hands is mine, I just love the story the photograph shows through hands alone.)
